1. Services & Definitions

Comperly Acad provides AI-powered mock tests, educational quizzes, and skill-based contests (referred to as "Contest", "Skill Challenge", "Quiz", or "Prediction Event"). Our services include both free features and paid subscriptions or credit-based access to premium content.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and participate in contests with prize money. Users between 13 and 18 may use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian for educational purposes only. You agree to maintain only one account and provide accurate registration information.

3. Skill-based Contests (No Gambling)

• Our platform is designed for skill enhancement and educational entertainment. The outcome of all Contests is predominantly determined by the user's skill, knowledge, and judgment, not by chance.
• No entry fee or stake is required for prize eligibility in our free-to-play Contests. Prizes in such events are funded by sponsorships and advertising revenue.
• Purchasing subscriptions or credits provides access to educational tools and premium features; it does not constitute a wager or increase your chances of winning a prize in a free-entry Contest.

4. Contest Rules & Anti-Cheat

• Each Contest has specific rules, which are incorporated into these Terms.
• We use various anti-cheat mechanisms, which may include monitoring for single-tab browsing, IP address consistency, and detection of automation tools or bots.
• We reserve the absolute right to disqualify any entry or user, and withhold or claw back prizes, for any violation of these Terms, including suspected fraud, cheating, or abuse of the platform.

5. Prizes, KYC, Taxes & Payouts

• Winners will be notified via their registered email and/or through a notification on the dashboard.
• Know Your Customer (KYC) is mandatory for cash prize withdrawals. This requires submitting valid government-issued identity documents (like a PAN card in India) and bank account details for verification.
• Payouts will be processed within **7-15 business days** after successful KYC verification.
• All prizes are subject to applicable taxes, including Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) as per Indian law. Users are responsible for their own tax filings.
• Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited after 90 days from the winner notification date.
• By participating, you agree that we may publish your name and/or avatar on our leaderboards and promotional materials. Opt-out procedures may be available in your privacy settings.

6. Subscriptions, Credits & Refunds

• Subscriptions provide access to premium features like advanced AI analytics. They do not grant entry into prize contests.
• "Credits" are a virtual currency for use solely on the platform to unlock content or enter specific paid contests. Credits have no real-world monetary value and cannot be cashed out.
• All purchases of subscriptions and credits are final and non-refundable, unless required by applicable law.

7. User Content & IP

For features like "Earn With Your Material," where you submit content (questions, solutions, etc.), you grant Comperly Acad a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and distribute your content, including for the purpose of training our AI models. You must represent that you are the original author or have the necessary rights to grant this license.

8. Our IP & License

All content on the platform, including our brand, logo, software, and AI-generated text, is the exclusive property of Comperly Acad. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful. This includes scraping, reverse-engineering, introducing malware, or using automated bots to participate in contests.

10. Leaderboards & Public Stats

We may display usernames, avatars, and performance statistics on public leaderboards. We may also publish anonymized or aggregated data for analytical or marketing purposes.

11. Third-Party Services & Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., payment gateways). We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties.

12. Changes, Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to modify or suspend our services or any contest at any time. We may also terminate or suspend your account for any breach of these Terms without prior notice.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as-is" without any warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Comperly Acad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Comperly Acad from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the service.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India, or resolved through binding arbitration in New Delhi under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.

16. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
